Super Green Smoothie

This smoothie is packed with healthy vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants.
The chia seeds and hemp seeds up the protein content and keep you full for longer.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds, gelled – do this by adding 3 Tbsp of water to the seeds in a small bowl and leaving them for 5-10 minutes. The seeds absorbs the water to create a gel
  • 2 Tbsp shelled hemp seeds
  • ½ cucumber (peeled if not organic or if using a hand blender), cut into chunks
  • 1 inch slice pineapple, peeled and cubed
  • 1 stick celery, chopped
  • Slice of lemon, peeled
  • ½ inch slice ginger, peeled
  • Large handful of leafy greens – use spinach, salad leaves or kale if you have a powerful blender, or a mix
  • A few sprigs of parsley – optional but recommended for extra detox power
  • Extra water, coconut water or nut milk

Moosh the Magic

  1. Add all the ingredients to your jug blender with a small amount of your preferred liquid and blend until smooth.
  2. Add more of your liquid to required consistency and blend again until mixed thoroughly.

Guilt-Free Choc-Orange Smoothie

This is a really special smoothie that proves you can have chocolate for breakfast!
We’re talking anti-oxidant and mineral-rich raw cacao, of course – get the energising superfood benefits of chocolate without the processed nasties. Teamed here with healthy fats from velvety avocado, sweetness and fibre from dates, a healthy serving of greens AND energising protein from chia, hemp and nut butter. Very decadent and VERY tasty.
